Oh people of the Book! Surely Our Messenger has come to you explaining for you after an interval of Messengers, it is for you not to say as: “Not any Herald or not any Warner has come to us”, then surely the Herald and the Warner has come to you! And Lord Allah is capable of everything.
After 600 years of raising Jesus bodily to the second heaven, the deputation of the final Prophet and Messenger Muhammad happened. No Prophet or Messenger had been deputed from Ismael's progeny for years till the deputation of Muhammad. Muhammad was deputed as the answer for the prayer of Messenger Ibrahim as explained in verse 2: 129. When Messenger Muhammad came with the Message for the entire mankind, the people of the Book threw back the Book with them as explained in verses 2: 41, 101-102, and 3: 183. Every Messenger is sent as a Herald for the believers and warner for the disbelievers.
It is told in verses 6: 155-157: "Lest the Meccan pagans say: 'Indeed, the Book was sent down upon two factions before us (Jews and Christians), and we were heedless of about the teaching of them. Indeed, if the Book had been sent down upon us, surely we would have been best guided than them'. Surely then an Evidence has come to you from your Lord as Guidance and Mercy, then Who is the most unjust than the one who rejects Lord’s verses and turns away from them, Lord will reward those who are turning away from His verses with the evil punishment because of their turning back". It is told in verses 28: 48: "When the Truth came to Meccan pagans from Lord, they asked: 'Why was Messenger not given like that which was given to Moses?' Didn’t they disbelieve in that which was given to Moses before? They said: 'They are nothing except two works of sorcery supporting each other, and indeed we are disbelieving in all". Messenger was commanded to ask his people through verse 28: 49: "Then you bring a Book from Lord Allah which is more guiding than either of Them, so that I may follow It if you are so truthful". It is told in verse 28: 50: "Then if Meccan pagans don’t respond to you, then you know that they only follow their whims; and who is more astray than one who follows his whims without Guidance from Lord Allah? Indeed Allah doesn’t guide the wrongdoing people".
Today Adhikr is codified as the Clear and Manifest Reading. But the Arabic Quran reading Fujjar who hide and reject Adhikr are following their whims. By hiding even the forty names of Adhikr, they are following Fujjar books written by the pseudo-prophets and hypocrites as explained in verses 2: 78-79.
